Tips and Techniques Wednesday - Valentine Garland

Hi there!

I have a fun and quick tutorial for you today.  It is an easy way to add some Valentine decor to your home.

First, gather your supplies, you will need some patterned paper in a Valentine theme or Valentine colours, a heart punch or die cutting machine and a sewing machine.
Cut or punch a bunch of hearts (really if you had very theme-y paper you could even use circles).
Now start feeding them through your sewing machine.
Sew across the middle of each heart, stitching a few stitches between each heart so you have a bit of a strand / gap.
Continue on until you have created a strand of hearts your desired length.
See I have about a dozen or so stitched together so far, noticed the stitched gap in between.
 Keep going........
Now look at my finished garland.  Perfect for draping over your curtain rod or even a china cabinet.

Festive right?

See I told you it was easy!

Thanks for joining me on the blog today!
Laura
