Stamped Stitching Template - Tutorial Wednesday

Hi there!

Happy hump day!  We have a special treat for you today, our tip comes form our sweet customer and friend, Danie!

I will let her do the honours of describing the how to's!  This is what she says.....

"I have been playing with my heating tool, VersaMark watermark stamp pad and stamps.

I accidentally discovered an easy way to stencil for adding some stitching to your card or layout.

Here I used my monogram R stamp with VersaMark watermark stamp pad and stamped it onto my doily cut circle.

Reveal the stamp mark.

Heat to dry to "watermark"

Secure to self-healing mat and Pierce using your craft pick.

After you have pierced the shape/letter, Start stitching.  I also added some bling....

and ta-da!!
a personalized card for my very dear friend."

Thank you Danie for sharing this technique with us, it is a great idea... any stamp you own can become a stitching template!

One further hint, if you do not own a heat gun and or VersaMark, you can always stamp the image in an ink colour that is a light version of your stitching colour.

Have a great day everyone!  And if you have a technique you would like to share, email me , we would love to post it here!
